| How to: | A commonly available and popular aquarium plant that is tolerant and adaptable. The leaves are shorter (1.6 in/ 4cm) and narrower (0.4 in/ 1 cm) than H. stricta and H. corymbosa and sport a light green, somehow reddish-brown color. Regular pruning will keep the plant healthy. When it reaches the surface, the leaves become red and compact. Ideal conditions include strong lighting and an iron-rich, fine substrate. |
