How to: | Dwarf ambulia is smaller, more robust in appearance, and hardier than the giant ambulia. The leaves are arranged in whorls along the stem and individual stems should be planted in groups about 1.2 - 1.6 in (3-4 cm) apart to create a dense, bushy appearance. When the plant reaches the surface it will grow horizontally across the water. It is adaptable to harder water and many aquarium conditions, making it an ideal plant for novices, although it does require a good source of iron. |
